DESCRIPTION
The Fastpack 40 is the biggest pack in the range and the one to grab when you genuinely need to disappear into the mountains for a few days. The volume is real — 40L swallows a bear canister vertically, a quilt, a shelter, layers, food and water for multiple days — but it carries closer to a 25L pack on your back because of the running-vest harness. Two flasks ride up front, shoulder strap pockets keep snacks and your phone in reach, and the roll-top plus full-length side zipper means you can pull the one thing you need without unpacking the whole load. Behind your shoulders, the Infiknit™ seamless harness with FastFlow™ ventilation moves air across your back through long, sweaty hauls, and at 715g, the pack itself isn't what's slowing you down.
If you're committing to a full Drakensberg Grand Traverse, planning a multi-day Cederberg link-up, or building base for an unsupported FKT attempt, this is the pack.
