DESCRIPTION
The Adventure Vest 6.0 is UD's biggest vest, built for the days when you're going further than the aid stations, lighter than a hiking pack, and into weather that might change its mind. A wraparound shape and the upgraded Comfort Cinch™ 3.0 lock the load close to your body so 17 litres of kit moves with you, not against you. The rear clamshell compartment is weather-resistant and hides a deployable rain fly for when the Berg decides to soak you; up front, you get two PLB pockets sized specifically for a GPS locator, dedicated water-resistant phone pockets, and a HydraPak Body Bottle™ 500ml ready on the strap. Four bungee loops handle trekking poles, front or back.
If you're training for an unsupported Drakensberg traverse, lining up at Skyrun or a 100-miler with a long mandatory kit list, or you're the kind of runner-hiker who wants to carry shell, food, headlamp and a 2L reservoir without strapping on a hiking pack, this is the vest for you. For shorter, lighter efforts where 17 litres is overkill, look at the Mountain Vest 6.0 (13.5L) or Ultra Vest 6.0 (10.3L) instead.
